Taguanut.com - Tagua nut, the ivory alternative!

Welcome To taguanut.com
Tagua nut, also known as corozo or corrozo, is a sustainable substitute for ivory. It's hard, cream colored - yet porous like a very hard wood. Drop it into water and it will sink. Tagua nuts are the seed of the tagua palm or Phytelephas macrocarpa.
Tamarind WoodTurning has some interesting links and how-to's on their site. Another place to look for general information on turning is Grampa Spragg's site.
